About Jenny's Jams

It all started with too many strawberries

The story of Jenny's Jams began in Lincoln in 2008, quite simply, with too many strawberries.

Jenny went strawberry picking with her daughter Elinor and picked more strawberries than they could eat, Jenny turned them into homemade jam. This quickly grew into a hobby which grew and grew and before long, that hobby had became Jenny's Jams of Lincoln.

Together with her husband Roger, Jenny built the business from those first jars of strawberries jam into a much-loved local brand. It was very much a family business, created with hard work, determination and genuine love for what they were doing.

Jenny and Roger

Sadly, our family lost Roger in 2021 and Jenny in 2024.

For a while, it seemed that we might also mark the end of Jenny's Jams. But the business held so many memories of Jenny and Roger, and represented much of what they had created together, that we didn't want their story to end there.

A new chapter

In 2026, Jenny's daughter, Elinor and her husband Siaka relaunched Jenny's Jams of Lincoln, proudly continuing what Jenny and Roger started 18 years ago.

Today, our Jams & preserves are professionally produced in partnership with Fruity Kitchen, enabling us to bring Jenny's Jams back to customers while keeping the family story and heritage of the brand firmly in its heart.

Jenny and Roger started the story. We're incredibly proud to continue it

Giving back to St Barnabas Hospice

A charity that has been there for our family

St Barnabas Hospice has supported our family through some of the most difficult times in our lives.

When Roger became seriously ill, his wish was to spend the end of his life at home, surrounded by his family. St Barnabas helped make this possible, providing compassionate care at home, including overnight support, while also being there for the family around him.

When Jenny was diagnosed with palliative cancer, St Barnabas were there for our family again, providing care, compassion and support throughout her illness. Although Jenny's death was ultimately sudden, we will always be grateful for the support they gave her and the kindness and care they continued to show our family afterwards.

We never imagined that we would need their help.

A week before Christmas in 2025, Elinor's husband Siaka, was diagnosed with cancer, and St Barnabas once again became an important part of our family's journey.

Their support has gone far beyond medical and palliative care. They have supported us as a whole family, helped us through some of our hardest moments and helped us support our young son through an incredibly difficult time, They have also helped us continue living, creating memories and fulfilling precious bucket-list wishes together.

Through Roger, Jenny and now our current journey, St Barnabas have been there for our family time and time again.

5% of our profits go to St Barnabas Hospice.

When we relaunched Jenny's Jams, we wanted this chapter to give back.

We will donate 5% of the profits from Jenny's Jams to St Barnabas Hospice, helping them to continue to provide their incredible care to other families across Lincolnshire.

It feels particularly special that the business Jenny and Roger created can now give something back to an organisation that cared for them, and continue to care for our family today.

Every jar helps us to say thank you
